Reform UK StockportCookie and website privacy information
Last updated: 26 October 2026. This notice explains the privacy choices on stockportreform.co.uk. It applies alongside the Reform UK privacy notice.
Who is responsible
The controller is Reform UK Party Ltd, acting through its Stockport branch, Millbank Tower, 21–24 Millbank, London SW1P 4QP. For privacy questions or withdrawal requests, email chair.stockport@reformuk.com.
Your choices
Optional website statistics and Google services are separate choices. Neither is required to read the website. You may reject both, accept both, or select a category. Closing the banner does not give consent. Use Manage consent at any time to change your choices. Withdrawing consent stops future optional processing; it does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. These website choices do not subscribe you to emails or give consent to survey participation.
Essential website functions
WordPress uses necessary technologies for security, sign-in and functions you request. Complianz stores your consent choices in first-party cookies with names beginning cmplz_, including the selected categories, policy version and whether you have completed the banner. These preference cookies are not Matomo tracking cookies. You can remove them in your browser; the website will then ask for your choices again. Blocking all cookies may prevent sign-in or remembering your choices.
Optional website statistics: Matomo
Only after you expressly accept website statistics, self-hosted Matomo measures page visits and which printed-leaflet campaigns brought visits to this website. Visiting a political website may reveal political interests. We therefore ask for your explicit consent to this processing. The basis is consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the UK GDPR and, where political opinions are revealed, explicit consent under Article 9(2)(a).
Matomo runs on this website’s server and is configured without tracking cookies. It masks the full IP address before storage, respects Do Not Track, and does not record survey answers, typed form content, email addresses or user IDs. The tracking code removes URL fragments, non-campaign query parameters and referrer paths. It records page and permitted campaign information, visit time and limited technical information needed for statistics. Administration pages and private survey previews are excluded. This is measurement of website use, not a method for selecting people for political messages.
Detailed Matomo visit records are scheduled for deletion after 14 days; the periodic deletion job may make the effective period up to about 21 days. Aggregate reports remain until deliberately removed. Statistics are accessible only to authorised administrators. Hosting security logs and backups are separate from Matomo and follow the hosting and party privacy arrangements.
Optional Google services
The optional Google-services choice permits Google Maps address suggestions and Google Fonts where used. Google can receive connection information, including an IP address; when address lookup is used, Google receives the search text entered. Do not enter another person’s address or unnecessary sensitive information. Address lookup is optional. Automatic geolocation and storage of map coordinates are disabled in the survey. Manual address fields can be left blank.
Google may process data outside the UK under its own service and transfer arrangements. Read Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s cookie information. Withdrawing this choice stops future optional service loading, but cannot recall information already sent to Google.
Printed-leaflet QR request counts
The two leaflet links have a separate aggregate counter. It stores only the leaflet code, date and total number of requests. It does not store an IP address, cookie, device identifier, referrer, email address or survey answer. Repeat scans, copied links, bots and link previews can count, so these totals are not unique people or completed surveys. The totals are not joined to political opinions or contact records. Daily aggregate counts remain until deliberately removed. Normal hosting/security logs are separate.
Other links and your rights
External donation and social-media links take you to services with their own privacy information. They do not give this site permission to contact you. For access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability where applicable, objections or withdrawal, use the privacy email above. Some rights have legal limits; our wider privacy notice explains them. You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
